This website presents LumioGold's capabilities and general operating terms. It does not itself conclude a sale, fix a precious-metal price or replace a quotation, purchase order, pro forma invoice, manufacturing agreement or other document signed by authorised representatives. Where a separately executed agreement conflicts with these policies, that agreement controls for the relevant transaction.
Scope and responsible entity
LumioGold is a brand of Lumiotech Private Limited and is not a separate legal entity. Lumiotech Private Limited uses the LumioGold brand for its jewellery manufacturing and export business and is the legal entity responsible for this website, enquiries and commercial relationships (“Lumiotech”, “we”, “our” or “us”). These policies apply to gold.lumiotech.in, any authorised secondary domain that redirects to it, enquiries submitted through the website and business dealings where the relevant quotation or agreement incorporates these terms.
References to “you” or “buyer” include a website visitor, prospective customer, buyer, importer, distributor, retailer, brand owner or authorised representative, as the context requires. If you act for an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to provide information and communicate on its behalf.
We may update these policies when our services, technologies or legal obligations change. Material revisions will be identified by a revised effective date. The version applicable to a commercial order is the version incorporated into or accompanying the applicable transaction document.
Privacy Policy
This section explains how Lumiotech processes digital personal data in connection with LumioGold. It is intended to operate consistently with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 and other applicable Indian law, in each case to the extent in force and applicable from time to time.
Information we may collect
- Identity and contact data: name, business email, telephone or messaging number, country and preferred contact method.
- Professional data: company, title, business role, market, website, authority to act and business-verification details.
- Enquiry and transaction data: product category, specifications, quantity, timeline, correspondence, quotations, orders, payment and delivery records.
- Compliance data: information reasonably required for counterparty due diligence, sanctions screening, anti-money-laundering checks, export documentation, tax or legal obligations.
- Technical data: page URL, referring page, campaign parameters, browser user agent, consent record and limited security or server logs. We do not intentionally request precise location through the enquiry form.
Please do not place financial-account details, government identification, confidential jewellery drawings or highly sensitive personal information in the public enquiry form. Where such information is legitimately required, we will identify an appropriate channel and purpose.
How and why we use information
We process information to receive and answer enquiries; assess manufacturing or export requirements; prepare quotations; establish, perform and administer business relationships; verify counterparties; protect designs and communications; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain security and records; comply with legal duties; resolve disputes; and improve our website and enquiry process.
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may be based on your consent, your voluntary provision of data for a specified purpose, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or another legitimate use recognised under applicable data-protection law. You may withdraw consent by writing to legal@lumiotech.in; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing and may limit our ability to continue an enquiry.
Service providers and disclosures
Access is limited to personnel and providers who need the information for an authorised purpose. These may include website hosting and security providers, Google Workspace and Google Sheets used for enquiry administration, communications providers, professional advisers, logistics or compliance partners, and public authorities where disclosure is legally required. We do not sell personal data.
Because LumioGold works internationally and uses global technology providers, information may be processed or stored outside the country in which it was collected. We handle such transfers subject to applicable Indian restrictions and reasonable contractual, organisational or technical safeguards.
Retention
Ordinary enquiries that do not become a business relationship are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. Contract, tax, accounting, export, compliance and dispute records may be retained for up to eight years after the relationship ends, or longer where a legal hold or mandatory period applies. Security logs are ordinarily retained for a shorter period appropriate to investigation and system protection. Data is then deleted, anonymised or securely archived where continued retention is lawful and necessary.
Security and data quality
We use reasonable access controls, account security, limited permissions, validation and operational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to share personal data relating to another person.
Your rights and grievance contact
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to a summary of personal data and processing activities, correction, completion, updating or erasure of personal data, withdrawal of consent, and grievance redressal. You may also exercise any right to nominate another individual where available under applicable law.
Send privacy or data-protection requests to legal@lumiotech.in with enough information to identify the relevant interaction. We may verify identity and authority before acting. If you remain dissatisfied, you may have the right to approach the competent data-protection authority when the relevant statutory provisions are in force.
Children
This is a business and export website intended for adults and authorised business representatives. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us so that we can assess and remove it where appropriate.
Cookie and storage policy
The site currently uses limited browser storage to remember privacy preferences and support core interface behaviour. This essential storage does not create an advertising profile. Optional experience preferences are used only when selected through the cookie controls.
We do not currently describe advertising or behavioural analytics cookies as active. If analytics, marketing pixels or comparable technologies are introduced, this policy and the consent interface must be updated before those technologies are enabled where consent is required.
You can clear local storage or cookies through browser settings. Doing so may cause the preference notice to appear again. Browser “do not track” signals are not uniform; we respond through the controls actually presented on the site and any legally required signals that become applicable.
Website Terms of Use
Informational purpose
Website content is general information about capabilities and is not a representation that a particular product, material, capacity, certification, delivery date or commercial term is available. Images are illustrative and may include styled or representative photography. Product specifications are binding only when expressly set out in an accepted transaction document.
Permitted use
You may view and print reasonable portions of the site for legitimate evaluation of LumioGold. You must not scrape or harvest contact data; probe or interfere with security; introduce malicious code; impersonate another person; submit unlawful, misleading or infringing content; use the site to benchmark or reproduce proprietary designs; or use automated systems in a way that burdens the service.
Ownership
The LumioGold name, logo, visual identity, page design, copy, photographs and other site material are owned by or licensed to Lumiotech and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No licence is granted except the limited right to access the website for its intended purpose.
Availability, links and disclaimers
We may change, suspend or withdraw site content without notice. Links to third-party services do not constitute endorsement, and those services operate under their own terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis without implied warranties of uninterrupted access, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from every error.
Website liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumiotech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, inability to use or reliance on this informational website. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
B2B manufacturing and supply framework
Unless a signed agreement, accepted quotation or purchase order states otherwise, the following framework applies to business enquiries and proposed transactions. Consumer purchases, if separately offered, require distinct consumer-facing terms and statutory rights.
Quotations and order formation
Quotations are invitations to place an order, remain valid only for the period stated and may be revised before acceptance due to precious-metal, gemstone, labour, foreign-exchange, tax, freight or regulatory changes. An order becomes binding only when accepted in writing by an authorised LumioGold representative and any stated deposit, KYC, credit or documentation condition is satisfied.
Changes to quantity, design, dimensions, metal fineness, stone specification, packaging, delivery, destination or compliance requirements may affect price and timeline. Verbal discussions do not amend an accepted order unless confirmed in writing.
Design development, samples and tooling
Samples, CAD, prototypes, dies, moulds, masters, tooling and development work may be charged separately. Sample approval authorises production within agreed specifications and commercially reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Buyer-requested changes after approval may require new sampling, charges and delivery dates. Ownership and storage of buyer-funded tooling must be stated in the applicable quotation; payment alone does not transfer LumioGold background know-how or production methods.
Materials, weights and tolerances
Precious-metal fineness, gross and net weight, stone weight, dimensions, finish and tolerances will follow the accepted specification. Handmade and batch-produced articles may show minor, commercially reasonable variation. Final invoicing may be based on actual accepted metal and stone weights where the quotation so provides. Buyer-supplied materials remain subject to incoming inspection, documented yield and agreed loss or recovery treatment.
Price, taxes and payment
Prices exclude taxes, duties, levies, bank charges, insurance, freight and destination costs unless expressly included. Precious-metal fixing methodology, currency, deposit, balance payment, credit period and consequences of delay are governed by the quotation. We may suspend work or dispatch for overdue payment or unresolved compliance information. Title to goods may be retained until cleared payment where stated and legally effective, without altering an earlier transfer of transit risk under agreed delivery terms.
Delivery, exports and importer responsibility
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Applicable Incoterms® 2020 rules, dispatch point, insurance and transfer of risk must be identified in the transaction documents. The buyer is responsible for destination-country import permissions, product and labelling rules, duties, taxes, customs brokerage and local resale compliance unless the accepted terms allocate a specific obligation to LumioGold.
Export transactions remain subject to Indian foreign-trade, customs, foreign-exchange and precious-metal requirements and to destination-country restrictions. We may pause, refuse or cancel performance where a transaction creates a sanctions, export-control, anti-money-laundering, fraud or legal risk.
Inspection, claims and remedies
The buyer must inspect goods promptly after receipt. Unless the accepted order specifies another period, visible shortage, transit damage or non-conformity should be reported in writing within seven business days, with invoice, batch, photographs and supporting evidence. Latent manufacturing issues must be reported promptly after discovery and within any written warranty period. Continued processing, alteration, resale or use after discovery may limit available remedies.
No return may be made without written authorisation and secure handling instructions appropriate for precious materials. After verification, LumioGold may, at its reasonable option and subject to applicable law, repair, rework, replace, issue credit for or refund the affected goods. Custom, engraved, buyer-specific, used, altered or correctly manufactured goods are not returnable merely because demand or preference changes.
Warranty and limitation
We warrant that goods will materially conform to the accepted written specification at delivery, subject to disclosed tolerances. The warranty does not cover ordinary wear, improper storage, impact, chemical exposure, third-party alteration, misuse, incorrect care, stone loss after unauthorised repair, or a buyer-provided design or material defect.
To the maximum extent permitted by law and absent fraud, wilful misconduct or liability that cannot be limited, aggregate liability concerning affected goods will not exceed the amount paid for those goods. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or reputational loss unless expressly agreed in writing.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, customs intervention, transport disruption, utility failure, cyber incident, labour disruption or material-market restriction. The affected party should notify the other and use reasonable efforts to mitigate. Extended events may permit cancellation of the unperformed portion on fair written terms.
Purity, hallmarking and product integrity
Precious-metal descriptions
Metal type, fineness or karatage, weight basis, plating, treatment and testing requirements must be recorded in the accepted specification. Descriptions such as “gold”, “recycled”, “responsibly sourced”, “nickel compliant” or a country-of-origin statement will be used only to the extent supported by the agreed product specification and available documentation.
BIS hallmarking and export specifications
For articles intended for the Indian market, hallmarking and related representations will be handled where required and applicable under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, the BIS (Hallmarking) Regulations, 2018, mandatory hallmarking orders and amendments in force from time to time. This policy does not by itself represent that every LumioGold article is required to be hallmarked or that any specific registration applies to every product or transaction.
Indian rules recognise specific categories and exemptions, including certain export articles manufactured to a foreign buyer's specification. Export buyers must provide required fineness, marking, testing, documentation and destination-market standards before order acceptance. A buyer must not apply, remove, alter or represent a hallmark, HUID, quality mark or certification except as lawfully authorised.
Gemstones, treatments and components
Where an order includes diamonds, coloured stones, laboratory-grown stones, treated stones, pearls or third-party components, their identity, grade, origin claim, treatment disclosure and certification—if any—must be specified in the transaction documents. Natural variation in colour, inclusion pattern and dimensions is not a defect where consistent with the approved specification.
Photography and samples
Screen settings, lighting, scale and styling can affect appearance. Website images and development samples are not guarantees of exact colour or weight. Production goods are assessed against the signed specification, approved sample and agreed tolerances rather than general promotional imagery.
Responsible sourcing and compliance
LumioGold seeks to manage precious materials with care and to work with credible counterparties. Our approach is risk-based and proportionate to product, source, geography, documentation and customer requirements; it is not a blanket certification of every upstream participant.
Supplier and material due diligence
We may request supplier identity, invoice trails, material declarations, assay information, sanctions information or other records where appropriate. We may decline a source or transaction where information is materially incomplete, inconsistent or creates an unacceptable legal, ethical or reputational risk.
Conflict-affected and high-risk sourcing
Where relevant, we seek commercially reasonable information concerning conflict-affected or high-risk sourcing and expect suppliers and buyers not to knowingly support unlawful armed groups, serious human-rights abuse, bribery, money laundering or fraudulent origin claims. Specific chain-of-custody or responsible-jewellery standards apply only if expressly agreed and documented for the relevant order.
Recycled and customer-supplied metal
Recycled-content claims will be made only where the supply route and documentation support the claim under the applicable agreed standard. Customer-supplied metal is accepted only after agreed verification and reconciliation procedures. Recovery, refining, process loss and scrap ownership must be recorded in the commercial terms.
Anti-bribery, AML and sanctions
We do not authorise bribes, facilitation payments, false invoices, undisclosed beneficial ownership or transactions designed to evade tax, customs, sanctions or anti-money-laundering controls. Buyers and suppliers must provide accurate identity, ownership, end-use and payment information when reasonably requested. Payments should come from and refunds should return to verified transaction parties unless lawfully documented otherwise.
Environmental and workplace approach
We aim to reduce avoidable precious-metal loss, handle process materials responsibly, maintain safe working practices and improve operational efficiency. Customers requiring a particular audit, chemical restriction, packaging standard, emissions data or social-compliance certification must identify it before quotation so availability and scope can be confirmed in writing.
Intellectual property and confidentiality
Buyer materials
The buyer represents that it owns or is authorised to use every design, drawing, trademark, CAD file, sample, specification and instruction it provides, and that our permitted manufacture will not infringe third-party rights. The buyer is responsible for claims arising from unauthorised buyer-provided materials, subject to the agreed contract and applicable law.
LumioGold know-how
Lumiotech retains ownership of pre-existing and independently developed methods, manufacturing know-how, process improvements, generic components, templates, tools, software, documentation and brand assets. No transfer occurs unless an authorised written assignment expressly identifies the transferred right.
Custom designs and exclusivity
Ownership of commissioned design work, production files, tooling and exclusivity is determined only by written commercial terms. Payment for development does not automatically grant worldwide intellectual-property ownership or exclusivity. Any exclusivity must identify products, territory, channels, duration, minimum commitments and permitted exceptions.
Confidential information
Non-public designs, pricing, forecasts, samples, processes and business information identified as confidential or reasonably understood to be confidential should be used only for evaluating or performing the relationship and protected with reasonable care. This does not cover information that is public without breach, already lawfully known, independently developed or lawfully received from another source. Legally compelled disclosure may be made after notice where permitted.
Complaints, governing law and contact
Raising a concern
For a privacy request, legal notice, intellectual-property concern, responsible-sourcing concern or policy complaint, email legal@lumiotech.in. Include your name, company, relationship to LumioGold, relevant order or enquiry reference, a clear description and supporting documents. Please do not send original valuables without written instructions.
Resolution process
We will acknowledge and assess concerns within a reasonable period based on complexity, verification needs and applicable law. Commercial claims remain subject to the notice periods and procedures in the relevant order. Privacy grievances will be handled under the process and timelines required by applicable data-protection law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These website policies are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any arbitration or dispute clause in a separately executed commercial agreement, courts of competent jurisdiction in New Delhi, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these website terms. Before commencing proceedings, the parties should attempt good-faith resolution through authorised representatives.
Severability and no waiver
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience and do not limit interpretation.
